VIVA – The meeting between Indonesian President Joko Widodo and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the Ukrainian President upload a video of his meeting with President Joko Widodo on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Through his official Instagram account @zelenskiy_official, the Ukrainian President expressed his grateful for the visit.
“The visits of our partners do not stop. Today I am having a meeting with President of Indonesia Joko Widodo in Kyiv. I am grateful that in this difficult time for our state, we feel the support of your people and country!” Written in the caption for the video upload on June 29, 2022.
Zelensky uploaded when President Jokowi arrived at the Mariinsky Palace, Kiev, which is the country's presidential palace. As soon as President Jokowi arrived and got out of the car, Zelensky greeted him and approached him. The two heads of state then seemed to shake hands tightly.
In another upload, Zelensky also wrote a longer caption about Jokowi's arrival to his country.
The two leaders of the countries also said Zelensky agreed with the exemption of visas for travel to each other's countries.
“During the negotiations, we discussed lifting the Russian blockade of Ukrainian seaports and resuming exports of Ukrainian agricultural products, as well as the prospects for postwar reconstruction of Ukraine. We agreed to launch a visa-free regime between our countries.” wrote the President of Ukraine in another Instagram post.
“Thank you for the first visit of the President of Indonesia to Ukraine in diplomatic relations. And the first visit of the leader of the Asian state to Kyiv since the beginning of the full-scale Russian war.” President of Ukraine added.
As known, President Joko Widodo that his visits to Ukraine and Russia to meet the leaders of the two countries carried a mission of peace.
