VIVA – The Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) ensures that the consumption needs of Indonesian hajj pilgrims will remain guaranteed ahead of the peak of the pilgrimage in Armuzna (Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina) on 8-13 Dzulhijjah 1443 H. It is known that pilgrims will get 16 meals while in Armuzna.

The Head of the Makkah Working Area, Muhammad Khanif said that for consumption, there is a difference from the previous year. Three days before Armuzna, pilgrims still get food catering.

“There is a difference with the previous year. So, this year's Hajj pilgrims, three days before Armuzna, still receive catering," The Head of Mecca Daker, Mukhammad Khanif said in Syisah-Makkah.

Catering that has been contracted by PPIH will only stop eating rations after the hajj pilgrims are in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina. The pilgrims will receive consumption at Armuzna by a different catering.

“Later on, during Armuzna, the pilgrims will be served their consumption by the Southeast Asian Community, starting from the time the congregation arrives in Armuzna until later they return to the hotel in Mecca. So, the food rations don't actually stop, it just changes," Khanif said.

Food rations from the Southeast Asia Muasasah are specifically given while the pilgrims are in Armuzna or from 8-13 Zulhijah. The menu prepared by the committee adapts to Indonesian specialties.

"The menu is according to our wishes (the archipelago). We have sent the menu to Muasasah and they are ready," Mukhammad Khanif said.

The menu that has been sent by PPIH to Muassasah is a menu of Indonesian flavors such as menus for eating when the congregation is at the hotel.

“We expect the menu to be like that, but we'll try later and see how they serve the food. There are a total of 16 meals during Armuzna. Pilgrims don't have to worry," He added.
