VIVA – The Indonesian boxer, Daud Yordan will fight Panya Uthok today on Friday, July 1, 2022 in the MPRO Evolution Fight Series 2022 at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta. Daud Yordan vs Panya Uthok will compete for the WBC Asia Boxing Council Silver Super Lightweight 63.5kg belt.
Daud Yordan or commonly called Cino is actually scheduled to take place in Thailand in March 2022. However, it was canceled because he had COVID-19 infection.
Based on his experience in professional boxing, Daud Yordan has often faced fighters from Thailand. From the 9 duels against challengers from Thailand, he always won with 8 of them winning by TKO.
Daud Yordan has a challenge when fight with Panya Uthok. Panya has a record of 64 duels with 54 wins (36 KOs) with two defeats. Panya Uthok has been a WBO world champion, WBO Aspac champion and WBO Asia champion. Meanwhile, Daud has dealt with 45 duels with 41 wins (29 KOs) and four defeats.
However, both of them are recorded as having won the world title. Even now, Daud still holds the IBA super lightweight title. Previously, he was the IBO featherweight (57.1 kg) and light (61.2 kg) world champion belt holder. Panya Uthok is a former WBO world bantamweight (53.5 kg) world champion.
Even so, Cino is optimistic about the match. Cino also do a careful preparation. So, he feels confident that he can achieve the best results.
"I think this is a very long round to follow, so my readiness is very good," Daud Yordan said on June 30, 2022.
