According to two studies conducted in 2013 and 2016, there are some of the most racist countries in the world that differentiate attitudes depending on a person's physical appearance and identity.

1. India

Unexpectedly, India is the most racist country. Based on a survey conducted, people of the country located in South Asia show a fairly large intolerance towards people with darker skin, whether it is of foreign descent, especially Africans or indigenous Indians who have darker skin.

2. Lebanon

Bahrain is located on the Persian Gulf and just off the coast of Saudi Arabia. Nearly 50% of the population in Bahrain is of Bahraini descent with Indians having the highest percentile of immigrants and 85.7% of survey participants also admitted to having witnessed racism in Bahrain.

Most people in Libya are Arabs. Other ethnicities that include Libyans are Tunisians, Egyptians, Dawadas, Italians, Maltese, Greeks, Pakistanis, Turks, and Indians.

5. Egypt

People born and raised in Egypt target 91% of its population, with the remaining 9% made up of Bedouins, Abazas, Turks and Greeks. It makes the people unfamiliar with the presence of other ethnicities, making Egypt one of the most racist countries in the world.
