G20 Side Event Discusses Central Bank Digital Currency and Crypto

VIVA – The G20 Side Event on today, Tuesday, July 12, 2022 will discuss financial technology. One of them is about central bank digital currency and crypto.
Side event is still the series of meetings Minister of finance and Central Bank Governors of G20 member countries or the 3rd  Finance Ministers and Central Banks Governors (FMCBG) Meeting G20 and 3rd Finance and Central Banks Deputies (FCBD) Meeting

This side event is known as the Indonesian Digital Financial Economy Festival (FEKDI). After discussing about digital currency, the next day will also discuss how to promote an inclusive and sustainable Indonesian economy.
"We will also talk about cooperation in cross border payments, not only globally but also in Asean 5, this is digital," he said.
FEKDI 2022 will be held every day from July 11 to July 15, 2022 in a hybrid manner. The speakers consist of authorities, industry players, academics and international institutions.
