VIVA – Traveling is a fun activity. Besides being able to explore new places, travelers will get new friends or experiences.
When visiting a new place, there are different ethics and must be understood. As a guest visiting a new area, it's a good idea to keep the rules and ethics while you're there.
Here are some ethics that must be understood when traveling and must be known.
1. Travelers in New Place is a Guest
When traveling to a new place, travelers are just a guest and they don't live there. It means, as a guest, travelers shouldn't feel too comfortable like staying at home.
As a guest, travelers must respect the Host such as respecting everything in the area, including local residents and being polite are things that need attention.
2. Learn and Obey Local Rules or Customs
Bargaining activities are not new in everyday life. In fact, in some regions or countries it has become a habit.
Of course, bargaining activities must be carried out politely and appropriately. In many countries, citizens depend on the income they derive from tourism. So, it's better to pay full price if you're not sure whether haggling is necessary.
