VIVA – WhatsApp will launch three new features to safeguard users' privacy. This was announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in an official release on August 10, 2022.
These new features will give users the opportunity to have more control over their conversations and provide more layers of protection when sending messages.
"Some new privacy features will be rolling out on WhatsApp including leaving groups without notifications, controlling who can see when you're online, and blocking screenshots for view once messages," Mark Zuckerberg remarked.
The introduction of these new features is in line with WhatsApp's latest privacy study that goes deeper into the role of privacy in meaningful conversations on the messaging app.
The study found 72 percent of people want to speak the truth without a filter. However, 45 percent of them only want to be involved in discussions in a safe and private room.
This is the reason WhatsApp introduced a new layer of protection that allows users to talk freely and privately, specifically designed to create a safe space for users.

Here are three new features that WhatsApp brings to users.
1. Choose Who Can See Users' Online
Not long ago, WhatsApp users complained about online features through social media. Many users want online features removed. This is a consideration for WhatsApp to launch one of these newest features.
2, Screenshot Blocking for View Once Message
One View Messages are automatically protected from the screenshot feature. So, users can share sensitive messages more conveniently. This feature is being tested and will be rolled out to all users soon.
3. Leave Group Silently
This tool will let users out of the group with comfort and more privacy. A system notification announcing that a user has left the group can only be seen by group admins.
Fitur Browser Baru Ini Jadi Sorotan
WhatsApp tengah mengembangkan fitur browser internal untuk pengguna iPhone. Dengan fitur ini, pengguna nantinya bisa membuka berbagai tautan langsung dari ruang obrolan.
