Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road Opens Today Free until August 21

VIVA – Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road Section 1A officially opens on August 10, 2022 by the Toll Road Regulatory Agency of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR). This toll will be functionally opened so it will be free from August 10 to 21, 2022.
The Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road Section 1A has a distance of 5.15 kilometers. According to an official statement from the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT), this toll road is connected from Serpong to the CBD Interchange.
"Connected from Serpong to the CBD Interchange has previously undergone a Feasibility Test (ULF) and an Operational Feasibility Test (ULO). Consisting of elements from the Ministry of PUPR, Ministry of Transportation, and the Traffic Corps of the Indonesian Police on June 22 to 24, 2022" BPJT's official statement wrote.
The construction of the Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road is intended to provide alternative routes to facilitate the distribution of commodity supplies.

Not only that, but also to improve the economy of the people of South Tangerang City and Tangerang Regency and Banten Province which have the potential to grow.
The Serpong-Balaraja toll road functions to support the holding of the largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia, the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2022.
The Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road is managed by the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) PT Trans Bumi Serbaraja which consists of three sections, namely section I (BSD–Legok) as far as 11.3 km, section II (Legok–Tigaraksa Selatan) 10.7 km, and section III (Tigaraksa Selatan–Balaraja) 17.8 km.
The specialty of the Serpong-Balaraja Toll Road will also be connected to a number of other toll roads. Namely, the Serpong-Ulujami Toll Road which is also connected to the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) 1 and JORR 2 Toll Roads.
