VIVA – Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly or MPR RI, Bambang Soesatyo attended and gave a charter award to Mohtar Mas'oed in the category of social thought. The award was given at the 18th PAB awarding night in Jakarta on Sunday, August 14, 2022.
In his opening speech, Bambang Soesatyo, or Bamsoet expressed his appreciation and praise for the Achmad Bakrie Award.
"This is really an extraordinary shot, but basically, I want to convey that what has been going on for almost 20 years, this is an award for knowledge, for people who are meritorious and outstanding in their fields," Bamsoet said during the PAB 2022 event.

The chairman of the MPR assessed that everyone who received the PAB award was an inspiration to every people. For this reason, he hopes that the nation's children can continue the breakthroughs that have been created before.
"Today, through the Bakrie Award, we hope that it will inspire all of us, for the community to make the best for the nation and the world," Bambang Soesatyo remarked.
According to him, the Achmad Bakrie Award event is one of the breakthroughs for the nation's successors and a strong determination to face the upcoming Golden Indonesia 2045.
"Are we making our world brighter in the future or vice versa? We must be optimistic; we can face everything. Indonesia is already facing problems and we are determined to achieve Indonesia Gold 2045," Bambang Soesatyo said.

He congratulated the award recipients for making Indonesia proud with the various works and ideas they produced.
"Congratulations to the award recipients, including Nirwan Dewanto in the Literature category, Mochtar Mas'oed in the Social Thought category, Erlina Burhan and Tonang Dwi Ardyanto in the Medicine category, and R William Liddle in the International Scientist for Merit for Indonesia," Bamsoet said.
"As well as the Archaeological Research Team of Indonesian Ancient Cave Paintings in the Science category, which consists of Adhi Agus, Pindi Setiawan, Basran Burhan, Budianto Hakim, and Rustan LP Santari. They have made Indonesia proud with the various works and ideas they produced," Bamsoet added.
The 18th Achmad Bakrie Award coincides with the 80th anniversary of the Bakrie Group. PAB 2022 has a purpose for millennials and Gen Z.
Also in attendance were DPR RI Speaker Puan Maharani, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Menpora Zainudin Amali, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno, BUMN Minister Erick Thohir, and national figures Aburizal Bakrie and Akbar Tanjung.
