VIVA – Telaga Warna Dieng is one of the tourist attractions located in the Dieng Plateau area, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. Telaga Warna was formed due to a volcanic eruption that occurred millions of years ago. Uniquely, the water in this lake can change color.
This color lake can show green and yellow colors, or it can also show rainbow colors. This phenomenon can occur because the water contains sulfur which is quite high.
In addition, at the bottom of this lake, there is also a habitat for red algae. Not only that, visitors will be presented with a very exotic and enchanting sunrise view.
Telaga Warna is located at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level surrounded by hills. The beauty will be more pronounced when visitors go up to one of the hills that surround this lake. The best time to visit this place is in the morning or afternoon.
