Polda Metro Jaya Will Hold Street Race in Kemayoran

VIVA – Polda Metro Jaya will hold a street race 4^th series on August 27 to 28, 2022 in Kemayoran. Director of Traffic Polda Metro Jaya, Police Commissioner, Latif Usman conveys the reason why Kemayoran was chosen as the venue for this legal street race.

Latif Usman said that he had considered many aspects regarding the selection of Kemayoran as the location for the street race. One of them, the streets in Kemayoran have a typical and unique road construction to accommodate racers or spectators.

Not only the location selection has been considered, but also the Polda Metro Jaya has carried out traffic engineering and has been prepared when the race takes place.

Still the same as before, the street race will hold a special two-wheeled race with a total of hundreds of drivers who have registered.

"There are about 500 participants. Of course, we will change places and coincidentally, this fourth series in Kemayoran has a typical and sufficient road construction to accommodate the racers and spectators who will watch it so that it will be more comfortable," Latif Usman explained.

"Of course, we will divert the traffic flow on the road around Kemayoran." Latif Usman added.

For information, the street race initiated by Polda Metro Jaya is a drag bike racing event managed by the police with the purpose of reducing illegal racing.
