VIVA – Apple has officially launched the iPhone 14 series at an event titled "Far Out". This event was held in Cupertino, California, the United States on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, local time.
Through the event, Apple introduced their latest iPhone 14 series, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the latest version of the iPhone, iPhone 14 Plus.

The iPhone 14, this iPhone comes with a 6.1-inch screen using Super Retina XDR Display, a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, wide color gamut, Dolby Vision, HDR 10, brightness up to 1,200 nits, and is protected by a ceramic shield.
This iPhone is equipped with the A15 Bionic chipset. However, Apple claims there is an increase in GPU by 18 percent. On the front of the phone, the iPhone 14 still retains the notch for embedding Face ID and also the front camera.
Turning to the camera, Apple has paired this iPhone 14 handset with a dual camera configuration which includes the main camera and an ultrawide lens. The main camera has a capacity of 12 MP with an aperture of 1.5 and an OIS shift sensor with an update of about 49 percent in taking photos in low light places.
While on the front camera, Apple embeds 12 MP with 1.9 aperture, a depth camera with an autofocus feature. In video capture, the iPhone 14 features an action mode with Dolby Vision HDR support.
Meanwhile, other features that Apple also provides on the iPhone 14 are WiFi 6 connectivity, iOS 16 operating system, 5G connectivity, eSIM, crash detection, which allows them to contact emergency contacts, and also emergency SOS via satellite.
Meanwhile, the Apple iPhone 14 comes in Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, and Product (Red) color variants.
iPhone 14 Plus
Instead of the iPhone Miniseries that was present in the iPhone 12 series, Apple decided to replace it with an iPhone that comes with a bigger screen which it calls the iPhone 14 Plus.
As the name implies, this iPhone is a regular iPhone that comes with a larger screen, which is 6.7 inches. As for the specifications, this iPhone has very similar specifications to the iPhone 14.
Starting from the chipset, camera, screen display, color variants, etc., this iPhone has the same specifications as the iPhone 14. It's just that the difference is that this iPhone comes with a bigger screen and regarding the battery of the iPhone 14 Plus, it is also claimed to be the best battery life ever on an iPhone.

For iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, both handsets carry a Super Retina XDR OLED screen protected by a ceramic shield. Just like the previous iPhone Pro series, the iPhone 13 Pro comes with a size of 6.1 inches, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max is 6.7 inches.
The displays of both handsets support Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HLG, brightness levels up to 1,600 nits and 2,000 nits outdoors, and refresh rates up to 120Hz. In addition, according to rumors, the iPhone 14 Pro also comes with Always on Display (AoD).
As rumors circulated, the notch on the front of the iPhone 14 Pro series screen disappeared and was replaced with a punch hole named Dynamic Island. Apple claims, its use makes the screen wider by up to 30 percent.
In addition, the second rumor that is also justified is that the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are armed with Apple's latest chipset, the A16 Bionic with 4nm fabrication which is claimed to be 40 percent faster than competing chips and 20 percent lower power than the A15 Bionic.
Regarding storage capacity, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will later provide storage options of up to 1TB.
About the camera, Apple still maintains a triple camera configuration on the back with a 48 MP quad pixel sensor main camera which is 65 percent larger than the iPhone 13 Pro, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12 MP telephoto lens that’s claimed to be two times better.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro series is available in four color variants Space Black, Silver, Gold, and Deep Purple.
