A Spokesperson for Indonesian G20 Reports Current Series Events

VIVA – Ahead of the upcoming G20 Summit on November 14 to 15, 2022, in Bali, the Spokesperson for the Indonesian G20 Presidency, Maudy Ayunda reports two current series of events.
The first activity is the G20 Labor and Employment Minister's Meeting (LEMM) which began with the G20 Working Group on Manpower (EWG) forum in Badung, Bali, on September 12 to 15, 2022.
The Indonesian G20 presidency in the employment sector is one of the significant discussion points in the post-pandemic recovery situation because the pandemic has accelerated job changes in the labor market.
"Therefore, the G20 Minister of Manpower meeting in Bali on September 14, 2022, carries the theme Improving the Employment Condition to Recover Together," Maudy said in a press statement broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat's official YouTube channel, on Thursday, September 15, 2022.
Besides being attended by ministers of manpower from G20 member countries, the meeting was also attended by some guest countries, engagement groups, and international institutions.
The LEMM G20 series produced five agreement documents which included accelerating the inclusion of groups of people with disabilities into an inclusive labor market, and increasing human resource capacity (HR) through Community Based Vocational Training (CVBT).

Then, the commitment to expanding inclusive and sustainable employment opportunities through development, as well as support for entrepreneurship programs and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Furthermore, there is an agreement to provide adaptive labor protection guarantees for all workers, an agreement from G20 countries in the development of integrated governance to ensure proper basic education, as well as access to skills development for every citizen.
In addition to producing the five agreement documents, the G20 LEMM is also a place for Indonesia to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of employment with G20 member countries and international organizations.
Then, another series of activities, namely the G20 Culture Ministers' Meeting (CMM). This event will be held in the Borobudur Temple area, Magelang, Central Java, on September 11 to 13, 2022.
In addition to a meeting between cultural ministers of G20 member countries, the event will feature several cultural performances, such as the G20 Borobudur Orchestra, Ruwatan Bumi, Cultural Carnival, to a Giant Meeting involving more than 2,500 Indonesian citizens and Indonesian artists.
According to Maudy Ayunda, at the G20 CMM, Indonesia encourages real commitments and long-term efforts to restore the world's arts and culture sector as a foundation for sustainable development, one is initiating global funds for the restoration of arts and culture.
"The global fund initiated by the G20 Indonesia Presidency is a global cooperation (gotong royong) platform in the recovery of the cultural sector, the implementation of which will be discussed further by G20 countries in the Indian Presidency," Maudy Ayunda remarked.
A spokesperson for the Indonesian G20 Presidency closed the report on the latest series of activities of the G20 Indonesia Presidency by inviting the younger generation to be involved in cultural sector issues and encouraging good practices of sustainable lifestyles to achieve a sustainable earth.
