VIVA – The Orbital Assembly company that United States-based plans to launch the first space hotel. This space hotel will open in 2025.
The Pioneer station which could potentially accommodate up to 20 visitors, will be a 39-foot by 3,500–14,100 cubic foot complex, consisting of a ring of five modules to be assembled in orbit by the robot maker.
As quoted from the Express website on Monday, October 3, 2022, with Pioneer as a proof of concept, the company is also building a larger orbital facility, the Voyager Station that will accommodate at least 400 people.
Voyager will be about 322 feet wide, with 24 modules connected in a rotating ring, capable of inducing about one-sixth of Earth's gravity. The solar panels on the side facing the Sun will provide continuous power. SpaceX's Starship rocket plane will also be used to transport visitors to the futuristic hotel.

Orbital Assembly Chief Operating Officer, Tim Alatorre said Pioneer and Voyager would have plenty of space for the first generation of space travelers.
"The hotel parts of both stations will feature areas for sleeping, eating, and for activities such as sports," Tim Alatorre remarked.
The facility will have windows for Earth observation. They are also working on a program for tourists to engage in certain scientific endeavors where companies can experiment with artificial gravity and micro/zero gravity environments.
"Program details are still under development, but we anticipate that people will have a lot to do once they are in space," Tim Alatorre remarked.
At first, Tim Alatorre admitted the cost of transporting humans into orbit could only be afforded by the super-rich.
"Our estimates suggest that more people will go into space and more online capabilities will make the price for getting people into space drop dramatically," Alatorre explained.
So, they hope that anyone with the desire to go into space will have the opportunity to go there. Alatorre conveyed for people who want to living there, they shoul pay under 10,000 euros or 150 million.
