PPKM Level 1 in All Indonesian Regions Extended until November 7

VIVA English Site – The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended the status of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Level 1 for the Java-Bali and Outside Java-Bali Regions until November 7, 2022.

Through the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs signed by the Minister of Home Affairs, Tito Karnavian on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the determination of the regional level is guided by indicators community transmission of community efforts in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The determination of the regional level is guided by the community transmission indicator on the indicators of adjusting public health efforts and social restrictions in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic set by the Minister of Health and considering the socio-economic conditions of the community," The Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) wrote, in Jakarta.

The Indonesian government has extended again the PPKM even though the condition of COVID-19 for the past month has continued to improve.

The regulation is contained in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 45 of 2022 for Java and Bali, and Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 46 of 2022 for Outside Java and Bali. Both Inmendagri will be effective until November 7, 2022.
