VIVA English Site – The Hunter’s Full Moon phenomenon will reach its peak illumination around 4:54 p.m. ET or 3:54 a.m. this week, October 9, 2022. Like all Full Moon, this phenomenon will appear bright and complete on the night before and the night after the peak.
Not only that, but this phenomenon also offers three opportunities for sky watchers to bask in the autumn moonlight. According to Alamanak Farmer, as quoted from the Live Science website on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, the best time to watch it is at sunset when the Moon will rise above the horizon.

The hunter’s moon follows Harvest moon, which is the name given to the full moon that falls closest to the equinox, meaning it can occur in September or October.

About once a month, a Full Moon occurs when the Sun, Earth, and Moon align on an invisible 180-degree line. The moon's orbit will be about 5 degrees different from Earth's, causing the Moon to be slightly higher or lower than Earth's shadow, allowing sunlight to illuminate the side facing Earth.
The next full moon is November's Beaver Month, or Snow Moon, which will rise on November 8, 2022.
