Indonesia Has Thousands of Authentic Culinary from All Regions

VIVA – Indonesia has culinary diversity that people unnecessarily underestimate. The presence of the 2022 Festival Jajanan Bango (FJB) is a paradise for culinary lovers. After two years of being virtual, now, FJB 2022 presents with the theme “Kenali Rasanya Indonesia” at East Plaza and GBK Senayan East Parking on October 28 to 30, 2022.
The Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, in his remarks, said that the theme of the 2022 Festival Jajanan Bango is expected to represent the rich variety of authentic culinary delights that make Indonesia one of the countries with the richest culinary traditions in the world. That way, people can get to know the local cuisine better.
"I appreciate the implementation of the Festival Jajanan Bango as an effective medium to introduce various authentic culinary delights as well as legendary traditional culinary MSME entrepreneurs to the wider community," Sandiaga Uno remarked on October, Friday 28, 2022.

Indonesian foods are well known to many people, such as fried rice, Soto, satay, and sambal. It turns out that Indonesia has 104 types of fried rice, 252 kinds of satay, more than 100 variants of Soto, and up to 322 kinds of sambal.
Sandiaga Uno continued that the exploration of Indonesia's culinary wealth must continue to be carried out to encourage MSMEs in the culinary sector so that they can contribute to the nation's economy.
“The Bango Snacks Festival is a form of collaboration between the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and Unilever Indonesia through Bango which also strengthens the 'Indonesia Spice Up the World' program in expanding the marketing of Indonesian spice products, where soy sauce is one of the spices that characterize, which culinary diversity of Indonesia," Sandiaga Uno explained.
On the same occasion, Nutrition Director of PT Unilever Indonesia, Tbk, Amaryllis Esti Wijono said, the theme of Festival Jajanan Bango for this year has the purpose to unite the entire community to preserve authentic Indonesian cuisine.
