VIVA – The Indonesian government is reviewing cooperation with companies in South Korea to research the development of future modern transportation. It is known, this mode of transportation is called Sky Taxi and will be used as city transportation or Indonesian people known as Angkot in IKN Nusantara, East Kalimantan.
Head of the IKN Nusantara Authority, Bambang Susantono said the Sky Taxi is inspired by drones but its size will be larger than being able to carry six-eight people.
"So, like a big drone, it can be filled with six-eight people, who can move people from one place to another," Bambang Susantono said in an exclusive interview with VIVA on The Interview program, November 3, 2022.
The idea of the sky taxi is not an empty fantasy but a distant vision of the future because the world in 2045 and beyond must be much different from today. Also, in Indonesia and IKN Nusantara.

"The world going to be like science fiction with many people with flying vehicles of all kinds," Bambang Susantono remarked.
According to Bambang, the IKN Nusantara core area will be designed as a city with all public facilities and government offices, even sophisticated and modern public services. In fact, the city layout is designed to be easily and quickly accessible from one location to another only ten minutes on foot.
The city is also designed to be inhabited by a maximum of 2 million people from all economic groups. Even low-income groups will still be able to live in IKN.
"We think this is not a city for those with money, but this is the city for all," he added.
