In his prime, Hendrawan was one of the best men's singles players Indonesia has ever had. He won a silver medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and has been serving as Malaysia's men's singles coach since 2009.

Rexy Mainaky is one of the best badminton players in Indonesia. Currently known, he has been the deputy director of coaching at the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) since October 2021. Rexy works closely with Wong Choong Hann who is the Director of Coaching for now.

In fact, Rexy's presence can have a very good impact on Malaysian badminton. This is evidenced by the success of the men's team to become the 2022 BATC champion. Rexy is considered to have made the achievements of the Malaysian women's doubles sector increase.

3. Flandy Limpele in Malaysia

Flandy Limpele has achieved success as a badminton coach abroad. He used to be Indonesia's mainstay in the men's doubles and mixed doubles sectors. Flandy has officially become a coach at the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) since 2020.

In fact, he immediately became the coach of Malaysia's best men's doubles, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik. His best achievement was bringing his foster children to win the bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Chia / Soh managed to defeat the Indonesian pair, Mohammad Ahsan / Hendra Setiawan in the race for third place.

4. Indra Wijaya in Malaysia

Indra Wijaya is one of the Indonesian men's singles who had extraordinary potential in the 1995-2000s era. His name was alongside other big names such as Haryanto Arbi to Ardy B. Wiranata. Indra Wijaya is also the older brother of one of Indonesia's best men's doubles players, Chandra Wijaya. Indra is currently offered as a men's singles coach in Malaysia.

Mulyo Handoyo became a topic of conversation after successfully delivering Singapore's men's singles, Loh Kean Yew won the world title in 2021. However, he finally decided to resign from his position and return to the country in early 2022.

Before bringing Loh Kean Yew to become world champion, he was a very meritorious figure for Indonesian badminton legend Taufik Hidayat. Through the coach's cold hands, Taufik Hidayat won the gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
