1. Mary I of England



Mary I of England, also known as Bloody Mary killed a lot of Protestants when attempting to restore Catholicism to England during her reign. The heresy law that she instated is responsible for the burning of over 300 Protestants who were accused of being heretics.

She was never prosecuted for any of her crimes; however, after her death, her re-establishment of Catholicism was reversed.

2. Myra Hindley



Myra Hindley is considered the evilest woman in British history. Along with her partner Ian Brady, she carried out the Moors murders in the 1960s. Together, they kidnapped, sexually tortured, and murdered five children and teenagers.

When they were caught, Hindley showed absolutely no remorse for her crimes and pleaded not guilty. For 20 years, she maintained her innocence; however, in 1987, she finally admitted that she had been involved in all five murders. In 2002, she died in prison.



Born in 1560 and dying in 1614, Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed was a countess from the renowned Báthory family of nobility in the Kingdom of Hungary. She has been labeled the most prolific female serial killer in history, although the number of murders is debated, and is remembered as the “Blood Countess”.

Also, she was the infamous serial killer of Hungary. She used to kill peasant girls through severe beatings, burning, mutilation of body parts, chewing off the face, etc. She was on house arrest and was not put on trial because of her status.



Beverley Gail Allit, is one of Britain's most notorious serial killers. Working as a pediatric nurse, she was responsible for the murder of four children and serious injuries to five others. Despite being found guilty in the case, Allit attacked 13 children over 58 days before being caught.

Belle Gunness is one of the most degenerate and prolific female serial killers in America. She was a very powerful woman of Norwegian descent. She most likely killed her husband and all of her children at different times, but she certainly killed most of her suitors, boyfriends, and her two daughters, Myrtle and Lucy.

Her motive was greed, as she stole and cheated from suitors as her source of income. Most reports put the death toll at more than 20 people over the decades, with some claiming more than 100.
