While Donald Trump announced that he will be running for the 2024 Presidential elections last year, it was already predicted on The Simpsons. The Simpsons' producer Al Jean took to Twitter to share an image of a 2015 episode of the series which features Homer Simpson flying as a "Trump 2024" campaign sign stands in the background. The show had previously also predicted Kamala Harris's run for the Vice-President.
5. Environmental pollution
As known, the problem of environmental pollution has already occurred and is getting worse. In one episode, it was even shown that environmental conditions will get worse in 2023. An episode tells of the destruction of Springfield, all the rivers are dirty and polluted with harmful compounds.
6. Mars Travel
The Simpsons' season 27 consisted of an episode called The Marge-in Chronicles, where Marge and Lisa volunteer to be some of the first humans to travel to and live on the red planet. While there's no mention of 2023, it's one of those episodes that discuss the future as Exploration Inc, a private company, hopes to send people to the planet to colonize it by the year 2026. The episode further showcases the mother and daughter living on Mars by the year 2050.
