VIVA – Indonesia presents the latest service with the Green Service system. As reported from the Korlantas Polri page on Monday, January 9, 2023, now pay for the cost of making a driver's license does not have to use money but can use trash. This can be applied in Cirebon, West Java.
Satpas Polresta Cirebon held a Green Service program, which is a driver license making service and can be paid for using trash. In collaboration with 10 waste bank points, they have served around 49 residents who made driver's licenses by utilizing the existence of waste banks.
One of the waste banks is at SMP Negeri 1 Talun, which has been providing this service for more than three years. Currently, the waste bank is trusted by Satpas Polresta Cirebon, serving people who want to sell trash for driver's license making.

Residents first collect non-organic waste that has a selling price, such as plastic bottles, iron, and copper. Later, the waste is deposited in the waste bank and weighed.
After that, the depositor will be given a savings book in which the amount of money from the sale of garbage will be written. If it is enough to pay the Non-Tax State Revenue fee for making a driver's license, residents can immediately come to Satpas Polresta Cirebon.
As known, a Driver's License or SIM is one of the requirements that must be owned by a person, when operating a motor vehicle on the road.
This document can be made at Satpas SIM, according to the applicant's domicile. Several procedures must be passed before the National Police issues a driver's license. Starting from the theory exam, to practice.
In addition, the applicant is also required to deposit the amount of money needed for the issuance of a new SIM. The amount is IDR 120 thousand for Driver License A (car), and IDR 100 thousand for Driver License C (motorcycle).
