"Bali again made a breakthrough so that it  increase two ranks. Last year Bali was ranked fourth," Sandiaga Uno said as quoted by tvOnenews, Wednesday, January 25, 2023.

Minister Sandiaga said one of the assessment indicators in the Travellers' Choice Award for Destination is the quality and quantity of reviews of destinations during the period November 2021 to 2022.

"The assessment indicator for the Travellers' Choice Award for Destination is the quality and quantity of reviews during the period November 2021 to 2022. That's why I never want a few negative reviews about Bali or Indonesian tourism. Because this is the result," the minister said.

With the success of Bali in second place, Sandiaga hopes that Indonesia's other five super-priority destinations can also occupy the world's ten most popular destinations.

In the future, Sandiaga also hopes that Bali can become the number one most popular destination in the world in the following years, "Hopefully in the next 5 years there is one of our super priority destinations that enter the top 10. I hope Bali can also enter as the first rank in the coming years," Minister Sandiaga Uno said.
