The New BMW X7 Launches in Indonesia, Bringing Better Changes

VIVA – Opening 2023, BMW Group Indonesia launches the most luxurious SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle), the New BMW X7. This car brings better changes in a combination of exclusive, dynamic, and modern looks.
"The New X7 comes with the biggest update ever in BMW. It looks different overall with a more luxurious design, many updates in the interior area such as the BMW Curve Display and iDrive digital features, and also this car is more efficient," said Jodie O'Tania, Director of Communications BMW Group Indonesia, on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the Langham Jakarta.
The BMW X7 uses a 2,998cc in-line 6-cylinder gasoline engine that can produce 381 hp of power and 520 Nm of peak torque. Acceleration from 0 - 100km/h can be achieved in just 5.8 seconds. The massive power is channeled through an 8-speed Sport Steptronic automatic transmission.

Moreover, to reduce fuel usage, BMW embedded mild hybrid technology embedded in the transmission gearbox, in the form of a starter generator contributing 12 dk power, and an additional 200 Nm of torque. The power is obtained by a 48-volt battery boost.
"One housing with the transmission, there is an extra 48-volt battery," Jodie added.
The front car design focuses on the BMW icon along with the adjustable "BMW Iconic Glow" kidney grille that lights up when the car is started, creating a look that exudes strong character. Then, Its Integral Active Steering improves agility during maneuvering and enhances driving comfort at high speeds.
In the cockpit, ultra-modern technology is elegantly displayed in an all-digital manner. BMW's signature curved display makes the instrument panel look slimmer. After that, for interior decoration, BMW uses a leather seat design.
Furthermore, the exterior of the new X7 includes twin stacking headlamps with LED lighting sources including low-beam, and high-beam, BMW's signature large kidney grill.
As information, for every purchase of BMW units with the production year of 2023, including the new X7, consumers get a warranty of up to 5 years, from previously only 2 years. This SAV segment car can already be ordered for IDR2,417,000,000 off the road.

The New BMW X7 will also be present at the 2023 IIMS (Indonesia International Motor Show). It will be the first time to show this car to public.Â
