Sarinah was the first world center in Indonesia that was built in 1963. It was inaugurated by the Indonesian first president, Soekarno, in 1967. The name 'Sarinah' was taken from the name of Soekarno's childhood nanny. The Sarinah building is also the first skyscraper in Jakarta as high as 74 meters with 15 floors. This place is now a tourist spot in the capital city that promotes MSME products and culture.

2. Radya Pustaka Museum

Radya Pustaka Museum is located on Jalan Slamet Royadi, Laweya, Surakarta. This tourist destination is the oldest museum in Indonesia, founded by Kanjeng Raden Adipati Sosrodiningrat IV on October 18, 1890. Etymologically, 'radya' means government, while 'Pustaka' means letters.

As the name implies, this place used to be a storage location for royal letters. Over time, not only letters were stored in this place, but also various important objects related to the kingdom. This place was eventually converted into a museum with a variety of historical collections.

This favorite tourist destination in the capital city was founded on September 19, 1864, in Batavia (now Jakarta) under the name "Planten en Dierentuin". The place was first managed by the Batavia Flora and Fauna Society (Culture Vereniging Planten en Dierentuin at Batavia). The location was in the Cikini area which was a land grant from Raden Saleh.

In 1964, the process of moving the zoo from Cikini to the Ragunan area, Pasar Minggu was carried out. Ragunan Zoo was officially opened on June 22, 1966, by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Major General Ali Sadikin under the name Ragunan Wildlife Park. Now, visitors can enjoy hundreds of collections of flora and fauna and a variety of tourist attractions suitable for families.

4. Komodo National Park

This national park is the oldest national park in Indonesia. Although the area was designated as Indonesia's first conservation area with Nature Reserve status in 1889, its anniversary was set on March 6, 1980.

Covering an area of 2,000 square kilometers, Komodo National Park offers a variety of exciting experiences. From seeing the endemic Komodo dragons in person, and playing on the beach to diving in the underwater world with stunning views.

5. Kemayoran International Airport

This airport was the first airport in Indonesia to be opened for international flights. The Kemayoran Airport runway was built in 1934 by the Dutch colonial government and inaugurated on July 8, 1940, as an international airfield.

Today, the former Kemayoran Airport has been transformed into the Jakarta Fair and Kotabaru Kemayoran complex. The location is now often used as a venue for various events.
