VIVA – One of the logistic company in Indonesia, SiCepat Ekspres participates in maintaining the spirit to preserve the environment through sustainable waste management.
In collaboration with digital platform for waste management, Duitin Indonesia, they invited employees to participate in managing waste during the FunRunThon event which took place on Sunday last week. Through this collaboration, collected plastic waste can be cashed as a reward.
The waste management begins with sorting the types of waste that can be recycled, such as types of cardboard, glass and plastic. After sorting, the waste is transported to be weighed. As a result, garbage collectors get rewards in the form of rupiah according to the weight of the collected waste.

The Kim Hai also revealed that in the future thy will maximize cooperation with various parties to support the company's efforts to realize its commitment to the environment.
Chief Operating Officer and Founder of Duitin Indonesia, Adijoyo Prakoso said that he appreciated SiCepat Ekspres for carrying out a positive movement to care for the environment, one of which was by collaborating with Duitin for waste recycling.
"Through Duitin, the waste that has been collected and sorted during the FunRunThon event will be recycled, then a report will be made so that we can know how big the impact this recycling movement is," said Adijoyo.
Furthermore, Adijoyo also explained that from the results of waste tracking conducted by Duitin, the amount of recyclable waste that had been collected during the FunRunThon event reached 43 kg consisting of 7 thousand plastic bottles and 300 pieces of cardboard. From these figures, it can be described that they has prevented a potential carbon emission of 520 kg.
