VIVA – Indonesia sends two elite Indonesian marathon runners, Reza Aulia Pradipta and Muhammad Ady Saputra to the Osaka Marathon 2023. Both will experience participating in a marathon that’s included in the World Major Marathon list with a Gold label at the World Athletics Federation.
Pradipta and Saputra will participate in the Osaka Marathon as representatives of Mizuno. Sending athletes to compete in this world-elite marathon event is Mizuno's commitment to supporting Indonesian athletics and its development responsibilities.
"We feel this is an extraordinary opportunity. For Mizuno and especially for Pradipta and Ady. This is our commitment to the advancement of Indonesian athletics, "said the Marketing Manager of Mizuno Indonesia, Iwan Saktiawan.
Both athletes have also been preparing to the fullest way to achieve their new records at the Osaka Marathon.
“I commit to training harder than usual. Osaka Marathon is one of my wish lists in my professional career. I will do my best to bring Indonesia’s name to the race,” Pradipta said.

The Osaka Marathon is an annual marathon race held in Osaka, Japan. The first Osaka Marathon was held in 2011, and it has since become one of the most popular marathons in Japan. The race is typically held in late January or early February each year and attracts thousands of runners from around the world.
In February 2022, the Osaka Marathon is combined with the Lake Biwa Mainichi Marathon, which is the oldest marathon race in Japan.
Lake Biwa Mainichi Marathon is one of the favorite races in Japan and holds the Gold Label of WA (World Athletics Federation). The integration of these two marathons makes the Osaka Marathon one of the world's top marathons.
In addition to sending athletes, Mizuno also launched a special edition Osaka Marathon running shoe, the Wave Rebellion Pro. This shoe was specially developed by Mizuno to create a shoe that is capable of running long distances.
