VIVA – The Indonesian President, Joko Widodo and Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong held a bilateral meeting at the Singapore Presidential Palace on Thursday. During the meeting, both leaders agreed on a number of cooperation in various fields.
"Overall in this meeting there are 20 letters of intent from the Singaporean private sector to invest in IKN Nusantara, then nine B to B MoUs in the fields of healthcare and digital, and seven G to G MoUs, including in the fields of energy, health, and digital," the President said in a joint press statement with PM Lee Hsien Loong after the meeting.
Regarding the development of the IKN Nusantara, the President welcomed the interest of investors from Singapore. In addition, he also welcomed the agreement between the two countries to increase investment in new renewable energy (EBT).

"Investment in the field of new renewable energy, which among others will be used to fulfill the energy of both countries," President Jokowi said.
Moreover, the President warmly welcomed the cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore governments in the digital field and the development of human resources in the field of information technology.

Then, President Jokowi also welcomed the cooperation between the two countries in the field of trade, one of which is through Indonesian livestock products to meet the needs in Singapore.

The President welcomed the cooperation between the two countries in terms of strengthening health services in the country.
"(Cooperation) to strengthen basic health services and health technology, as well as investment in hospital development in Indonesia," he concluded.
