VIVA – Anindya Bakrie and Ardi Bakrie from Bakrie Group received a visit from Hungarian Ambassador H.E. Lila Karsay and the Matthias Corvinus Collegium (MCC). This meeting aims to support sustainable transportation.

Anindya Bakrie in a personal Instagram post on May 16, 2023, said that MCC has the same vision, "MCC is the largest private educational institution in Hungary, which provides scholarships and seeks to produce young leaders. This is the same as what we do at Bakrie educational institutions."

Bakrie University and Bakrie Group welcomed the arrival of the Hungarian Ambassador, HE Lila Karsay and a delegation from the Matthias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) in a discussion aimed at encouraging sustainable transportation development in Indonesia, as reported from News Bakrie, on Friday.

"Driving Change: The Importance of Sustainable Transportation in Indonesia's Future" became the main agenda of this event.

Head of Bakrie University's Political Science Program, Aditya Batara Gunawan, led the discussion on various aspects, including Bakrie and Brothers' business model that aims to achieve a future of Net-Zero by decarbonizing the industry.

In addition, VKTR also explained their business model in shifting the use of gasoline-fueled buses to electric buses, as well as VKTR's initiative in implementing electric buses to solve transportation problems in Jakarta and make it an opportunity for the advancement of sustainable transportation in Indonesia.

The event took place at Studio 2 The Convergence Indonesia was attended by the Rector, Vice Rector, and students of Bakrie University, as well as important figures such as Mr. Anindya Novyan Bakrie, President Director & CEO of Bakrie & Brothers, Mr. Dino Ahmad Ryandi, COO of VKTR, Alex Kim, Chief Strategy of VKTR, and Mrs. Kartini Sally, Director of Bakrie & Brothers.
