VIVA – The owner of Twitter, Elon Musk on Thursday announced a new feature that allows users of Blue subscribers can upload two hours of video or up to 8GB.
Many users commented on Musk's Tweet and appreciated the move. But not all agreed and some criticized the announcement.
"This could be a good reason to switch to podcasts. Especially in finance and tech. More intuitive than browsing Spotify," said one user.
While another commented, "For someone like me who uploads a lot of videos, this is something amazing! Size and time limits have historically been a headache. Excited to share more on Twitter and rely less on YouTube," he tweeted.

The new development comes after the billionaire revealed his plans to bring new features to the platform including adding encrypted calls and messages.
Earlier last week, Musk said in a tweet that there will be voice and video chat to anyone on the platform, so they can talk to people anywhere in the world without giving a phone number.
A few days ago, Elon Musk officially appointed Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter. She is currently on duty as NBCUniversal's Head of Advertising and Partnerships will start working on the blue bird social media in the next 6 weeks.

So, where will the CEOs of SpaceX and Tesla go? Musk admitted that he would later change roles to become an executive and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who oversees the social media giant's software development.
