VIVA – BMW Indonesia officially launched the latest edition of the premium sedan segment on Tuesday, called The New 7. This new car is assembling localy, in Sunter, North Jakarta, Indonesia.
Ramesh Divyanathan as President Director of BMW Group Indonesia stated that the BMW 735i offers an elegant, sporty and modern body design that can be seen from the headlights of the BMW 7 Series.
He also said that the All New BMW 735i complements BMW cars assembled in the country.
"Today, we are introducing the all-new 7 Series as our commitment to add more locally assembled models," said Ramesh during the launch event of the all-new BMW 7 Series on Tuesday, at Gaya Motor Raya Factory, Sunter.

On the same occasion, Jean Philippe Parrain, Vice President Sales BMW AG Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa said, BMW The New 7 which is the most luxurious vehicle comes with a modern, luxurious and innovative design.
"BMW The New 7 comes with a modern and luxurious design with various technological innovations for the driving experience," Parrain informed.
The New 7 comes with a luxurious and elegant design. At the front, it is still dominated by BMW's signature kidney grill which is quite large.
Then for the interior, it looks modern and provides more comfort than premium sedans from other models. That is because the cabin looks executive lounge with a home theater with a 31-inch screen.
In addition, there are several modern and advanced features, such as drive assistance which helps the driver when driving on the highway.
BMW The New 7 has a 3,000cc 6-cylinder engine with TwinPower Turbo assistance. It can produce 272 horsepower at 5,000-6,500 rpm, and 400 Nm of peak torque at 1,750-4,500 rpm and is channeled through a 9 Speed Steptronic transmission
Regarding the price, the the latest BMW 7 Series M Sport ICE (internal combustion engine) version is sold for around IDR 2.2 billion.
