Nunez's design is currently being tested by various airlines at the AIX exhibition. In fact, Nunez is said to have received sponsorship to further develop his design.

Nunez Vicente admitted that when he initially exhibited his design, many people were skeptical. However, as he continued to develop and showcase it to the public, more and more people began to consider it.

"Often when showing something new, everyone hates it at first; they're afraid of change. But the more you show it, the more you develop it, the more they see it, the more they get used to it," he said.

Furthermore, Nunez believes that his double- decker airplane seat is the future of economy class in the aviation world. To achieve this, Nunez is even willing to forgo pursuing his Master's degree.

"Many airlines and big players in this industry are trying to push us to fit more passengers into the aircraft. But that's not the main priority," he informed.

Nunez admitted that many people have negative judgments about his design because the double-decker seat is perceived to make passengers feel uncomfortable, as if airlines are cramming too many seats into the aircraft.

However, he stated that many people have misunderstood his design.

Regarding this, Nunez explained that in addition to accommodating more passengers, the seats, which have a height of about 6 feet 2 inches, have spacious room underneath. This allows users to fully stretch their legs and recline at a 125-degree angle.
