The waves on this beach are perfect for surfers. Unfortunately, there are no hotel facilities. So, tourists have to find a hotel first before they can go to the location to just enjoy the beach.
Regional House of Representative from the West Sumbawa Regency, Merliza Jawas said that there are indeed many beautiful destinations in West Sumbawa. However, the management has not been maximized.
"There must be improvements in facilities, infrastructure and information. In the past, the government has invested in promotion, but it has not been maximized," Jawas said.
In addition, Jawas stated that what is also needed for destinations there is the improvement of tourist attractions and human resources.
"We have tour guides, but we still utilize Pokdarwis. There are many destinations ranging from beaches, trekking, camping ground to paragliding," Jawas explained.
As example, Mantar Village in Poto Tano sub-district is a cultural village with surfing and paragliding.
