President Inaugurates 12 Indonesian Ambassadors to Friendly Countries

Jakarta – The President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Monday inaugurated 12 Indonesian Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to friendly countries at the State Place, Jakarta.

The inauguration based on Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 51/P dan 55/P of 2023 on the Appointment of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia - which were inaugurated on June 14 and June 23, 2023 by President Joko Widodo. 



Here are the newly-inaugurated name of the Indonesian Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary: 

1. Teuku Faizasyah, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Norway accredited to Iceland, residing in Oslo;
2. Michael Trias Kuncahyono, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Holy See of the Vatican, residing in Vatican City;
3. Achmad Rizal Purnama, as Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, residing in Ankara;
4. Arief, as Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Ukraine accredited to the Republic of Armenia and Georgia, residing in Kyiv;
5. Achmad Ubaedillah, as Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam accredited to the Republic of Indonesia, residing in Bandar Seri Begawan;
6. Santo Darmosumarto, as Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Cambodia, residing in Phnom Penh;
7. Grata Endah Werdaningtyas, as Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, residing in Vientiane;
8. I Gede Ngurah Swajaya, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Swiss Confederation accredited to the Principality of Liechtenstein, residing in Bern;
9. Dupito Dorma Simamora, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Fiji accredited to the Republic of Kiribati, the Republic of Nauru and Tuvalu, residing in Suva;
10. Meidyatama Suryodiningrat, as Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Romania accredited to the Republic of Moldova, residing in Bucharest;
11. Ricky Suhendar, as Ambassador of the Republic of Peru accredited to the Plurinational State of Bolivia, residing in Lima;
12. Saud Purwanto Krisnawan, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa accredited to the Republic of Botswana, the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Kingdom of Eswatini, and the Southern African Development Community (SADC), residing in Pretoria.
