Tangerang – Ammaia Ecoforest, an innovative housing project developed by Astra Land Indonesia, has captured attention as a real example of sustainable living amidst the bustling city.

One distinctive feature of Ammaia Ecoforest is the incorporation of a Green Open Space (GOS) covering 30 percent of the total land area. GOS is a crucial element of open space, functioning as a place for social interaction, reconnecting people with nature, others, and themselves. "The role of GOS is vital," says Iben Yuzenho Ismarson, Founder of Sebumi.
The concept of an ecoforest within this area creates a cool and calming atmosphere, reducing the urban hustle and bustle. Additionally, the project has implemented effective rainwater management, reducing flood risks and supporting water availability.
"Living near nature can reduce stress levels, allowing us to maintain stable moods and emotions. This enables us to have a more positive relationship with ourselves and enhance positive relationships with others," explains clinical psychologist Tara De Thours.

ALI has achieved the Gold rating from the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) for the sustainability of this housing project.
