Ministry Strengthens Regulation on National Logistic Ecosystem

Tangerang – The Indonesian Transportation Ministry through General Directorate Maritime Transportation emphasized to strengthen regulation on national logistic ecosystem arrangement. This was proven by publish Ministry Regulation, and other deriative regulations.

Acting Director General of Maritime Transportation, Capt. Antoni Arif Priadi explained that this was related to the enactment of Presidential Instruction Number 5 of 2020 on Structuring the National Logistics Ecosystem.

"Strengthening this regulation is carried out to improve transparent and accountable services at the port. With the renewal of regulations and the Inaportnet system, continuous coordination is needed for excellent service at the port," Capt. Priadi said in his statement on Tuesday.

He said, until August 2023, as many as 149 ports had implemented port service digitization, known as Inaportnet, as the initial entry point for logistics flow at the port.

"The Transportation Ministry targets to meet the target of 260 ports by the end of 2023,"

Capt. Priadi emphasized that the implementation of Inaportnet at the port is a serious step of the Ministry of Transportation, in improving services at the port.

"As well as a collaborative effort with related Ministries/Institutions at the port through digitalization," he remarked.

Therefore, Capt. Priadi also expressed his gratitude to all relevant Ministries /Agencies and stakeholders, as well as the Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) within the Directorate General of Maritime Transportation.

Because, they have worked hard to collaborate and synergize, to support the implementation of Inaportnet in Indonesia.

"The Ministry of Transportation together with related Ministries/ Institutions continue to improve themselves and take the necessary strategic steps in a coordinated and integrated manner to carry out national logistics arrangements to improve Indonesian competitiveness in the eyes of the world," he explained.
