The Head of State also invited several ministers, artists, and influencers to try out this fast train. According to him, although this vehicle has a high speed, its condition remains stable.

It is known that President Jokowi has often checked the fast train project. But only this once also tried the train.

"I have come four times to the fast train project, but this is the first time I tried it. It turns out to be comfortable," the President said.

Furthermore, President Jokowi hopes that people can use this fast train starting in October 2023.

"Let us hope that the public will be able to use the high-speed trains starting from early October of 2023," the President said.

The Head of State emphasized that the government will proceed with the plan of providing people with an opportunity to ride the trains, which can traverse across Jakarta and Bandung in only about 50 minutes, for free during the test ride period.

Moreover, President Jokowi stated that the people can simply opt for public transport as their main means of transportation to contribute to the government's efforts in reducing air pollution and traffic congestion issues in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi (Jabodetabek), and Bandung regions.

"It should be noted that traffic congestion in Jabodetabek and Bandung has cost us more than IDR 100 trillion," President Widodo concluded.
