The Public Can Try Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train Starting Today

Jakarta – The Indonesian Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi stated that the public will be able to participate in the test ride of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway (KCJB) starting today, September 15, 2023.Â
"The Jakarta-Bandung fast train trial is carried out before the planned inauguration by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on October 1, 2023," Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said here on Thursday.Â
The KCJB trial will be conducted for 15 days until September 30. "But I don't know yet how the KCJB trial registration mechanism for the public," the Minister informed.Â
As known, Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) stated that until now there have been around 600 people who are residents affected by the construction of the fast train line along Halim Station to Tegalluar Station, who have registered to take part in the fast train trial.

Eva Chairunisa as Corporate Secretary of KCIC said that residents affected by the construction of the Jakarta Bandung High-Speed Rail (KCJB) line are indeed prioritized to get a trial quota around the end of September 2023, in coordination with the local sub-district.
"For residents around the route, we have coordinated with all sub-districts from along Halim to Tegalluar who coordinate for residents who will leave. The total to date has reached around 600 people," Chairunisa stated.Â
