WhatsApp Launches Voice Chat Feature for Large Groups

Jakarta – The instant-messaging app, WhatsApp is launching a new voice chat feature that will be a less disruptive method to connect with large groups. 

According to an official statement on Tuesday, Voice Chat feature begins with the appearance of an in-chat bubble that users can tap to join immediately. 

You can see who has joined the voice chat in a banner on the bottom of the screen.

"Voice chat will end automatically once everyone has left the chat. They'll also end if no one joins the first or last person in the chat for 60 minutes," the messaging platform said in an update.



"Voice chats are available for groups of 33 to 128 people and this feature is only available on primary devices," WhatsApp added. 

The group calls now can ring to all members. However, call controls also remain at the top of the chat, so users can quickly mute, hang up, or message the group without having to leave the existing conversation. 

As with calls and private messages, WhatsApp also protects Voice Chats with end-to-end encryption by default. The Voice Chat feature will be rolled out globally, to large groups starting with groups of 33 members or more.

Earlier, WhatsApp already had the WhatsBlueText App for Android devices. This application allows users to replace the black color of the text with other colors. There are various color options that can be used.



After the application is installed, open the application and select the Fancy Text menu. After that, go to the Start Writing menu and write whatever you want in the field provided. There are many writing styles available. Select the blue one so that it can be sent.

Users will also see three options, namely "Copy Text", "WhatsApp", and "Share Text". Select the WhatsApp option and the app will switch to WhatsApp automatically.

The colored text can be sent to anyone on WhatsApp. Select one of the contacts you want to send the colored text to. This colored writing is not only for WhatsApp chats but can also write Status on WhatsApp accounts.
