Lebanon – Roughly 20 rockets fired from Lebanon towards the Upper Galilee area in Israel near the border between the two countries, local reports said on Saturday.
"About 20 rockets fired within minutes towards the Upper Galilee region," Israeli Army Radio reported, adding that sirens sounded in Shtula in the Western Galilee, near the Lebanese border.
Army Radio did not indicate whether the shells led to injuries or damage.

Tensions have flared along the Israel-Lebanon border amid intermittent exchange of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah.
The border tension comes as Israel widened its air and ground operations in the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on Israeli border towns on October 7.

Earlier, Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah vowed to mobilize "all its forces" to defeat the Israeli regime if the war in the Gaza Strip spills over to other fronts.
"We are not afraid to face Israel and if they decide to wage war against Lebanon and Hezbollah, we will face it with all the power we have to overthrow this regime," Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
"Once the Israeli regime starts a war against us, we will have no choice but to defend ourselves with all our might. In any war against the (Israeli) occupation regime, we can win," Qassem said.
