Earlier, on November 4 of 2023, Indonesia sent a total of 51.5 tons of aid that involved medical equipment and food for the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The aid was handed over to the Red Crescent of Egypt before being delivered to conflict-hit Palestinians in Gaza by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
