In addition, the National Police Chief will also implement several traffic engineering efforts ranging from contraflow arrangements to a one-way system, he continued.

"This is why we have chosen the traffic counting formula that we tried yesterday during the implementation of Eid al-Fitr," he remarked.

Then for the implementation of worship activities in the Christmas celebration, the National Police Chief said that his ranks would participate in securing the implementation of worship both on December 25 and other dates.

"Police members have prepared, including how we sterilize places of worship that will be used to carry out Christmas worship activities," General Prabowo stated.

Other activities of concern to the government, General Prabowo said, are political campaigns and the distribution of social assistance and fuel oil to the public.

"Of course, all of these activities must be able to run safely, run smoothly, run well, including the distribution of necessities, the distribution of fuel oil is also our concern," he said.

The National Police Chief added that the government has prepared a task force to ensure the smooth distribution of staple foods and fuel.

"Operations to monitor prices, operations to oversee the distribution of necessities, to oversee fuel, especially for people who are in areas that are jammed and then there must be assistance related to fuel distribution, then the National Police together with colleagues from Pertamina have certainly prepared a special task force," he explained.

In addition, the National Police Chief said that his staff had prepared a special task force to anticipate disasters during the rainy season in several regions.

The Indonesian Police said that government officials would collaborate to provide first aid to some affected areas.

"We have prepared a special contingency task force for disaster management so that the Indonesian National Army, Indonesian Police, BNPB, and all existing stakeholders are ready to be present and provide first aid when disasters occur in areas that we are monitoring and are likely to have an impact," he concluded.
