Jakarta – The DKI Jakarta Health Agency has reported that there were 365 active cases of Covid-19 virus transmission on Wednesday. Of that number, 12 patients are being treated in the ICU.
"As of December 13 2023, there were 365 active positive cases," said Head of the Surveillance, Epidemiology and Immunization Section of the DKI Jakarta Health Office, Ngabila Salama in a statement.
Salama stated that the addition of positive Covid-19 cases was 131 cases per day. There were two cases of patients who died due to Covid-19 from 1 to 10 December 2023.

"The bed use is stable at under five percent. There has been no significant increase," Salama informed.
Salaman further said that currently 44 positive Covid-19 patients are being treated in hospital. Apart from that, there are 32 symptomatic cases undergoing isolation in hospital and 12 cases in ICU.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health reported that active cases of Covid-19 virus transmission have soared to 6,223 active cases currently.
This figure is based on data from the Health Ministry on the Emerging Infections page as of Tuesday, December 12 2023 at 4 p.m.
This data shows that the addition of daily confirmed Covid-19 cases was 298 cases, bringing the total confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia since it was first announced in March 2020 to now 6,815,576.
Of the total confirmed cases, 6,647,428 of them have recovered. Meanwhile, patients who died due to Covid-19 reached 161,926 people or around 2.4 percent.
