Palestinian Children Have Undergone Amputations Without Anesthesia

Gaza – Around 1,000 children have had limbs amputated without anesthesia in the Gaza Strip since Israel began its brutal bombing campaign on 7 October, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has stated.Â
UNICEF added that allowing the continued shelling of Gaza means greenlighting the killing of more children.
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip has previously stated that nearly 70 percent of the casualties of the aggression were children and women.
The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has surged to 20,674, the Health Ministry in the territory said yesterday.

Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qudra also said that 54,536 people had been injured in the months-long offensive.
The Israeli onslaught has left Gaza in ruins, with half of the coastal territory’s housing damaged or destroyed and nearly 2 million people displaced within the densely populated enclave amid acute shortages of food and clean water.
Earlier, an Israeli politician, Tali Gottleib, also said that all essential supplies, such as food, drink, and fuel, should be stopped from Gaza.Â
"Food, water, fuel for Gazans (must be stopped)," Gottlleib said, adding that how could he conquer Palestine, if Israel still allows Gazans to live and be healthy?Â
"How can we conquer the enemy, if I give them living conditions? How can we conquer the enemy as long as I give them everything they need, give them strength to fight us and they have fuel to fight us? I will oppose this issue," Gottleib continued.Â
