WhatsApp Offers New Exciting Features for Its Users

Jakarta – WhatsApp now offers a self-messaging feature for its users. This new feature, initially available only in the WhatsApp Beta version, is now accessible for both Android and iOS.

Furthermore, WhatsApp has introduced the capability to change display colors, a feature associated with the self-messaging option developed in September 2022.

Earlier, users had to save their number and create a group to send messages to themselves, but now WhatsApp has announced the convenience of sending messages to one's number without any hassle.

To initiate self-messaging in WhatsApp for iOS and Android:

1. Click on the chat button at the bottom right.

2. Several options will appear, including New Group, New Contact, New Community, and the contact list.

3. In the contact list, your number will appear at the top. Tap on that number and start sending messages to yourself.

This feature was developed by WhatsApp in response to users seeking shortcuts to save various important messages and files outside of a notepad.

Sending messages to oneself can also be used to store various messages, links, photos, and videos sent by other users.

Additionally, it's useful for sharing files across devices, such as sharing files from Mac to Android or Windows to iPhone, which can be cumbersome. Using cross-platform applications like WhatsApp can streamline this process.

While currently, we can use Dark Mode and Light Mode themes, WhatsApp's appearance can soon be changed to five color options: green, blue, white, pink, and purple.
