Sweden –An object believed to be an explosive device was found outside the Israeli Embassy in Stockholm on Wednesday and destroyed by Swedish police.
Embassy staff had notified police of the object, triggering a large response from law enforcement, the police stated.
The device was later detonated in a controlled manner, a police spokesperson told the broadcaster TV4.
Police declined to give any detail on the nature of the object, or of how it had got into the embassy grounds.

The embassy building was cordoned off at a distance of about 100 meters (yards). It could not immediately be reached for comment.
As known, Israel is currently being protested by many countries in the world for its actions to oppress the Palestinian people.
Israeli army attacks have occurred every day in the West Bank since the war began. According to the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) and the Prisoners Affairs Authority, Israeli soldiers arrested 35 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in the past 24 hours, including a 12-year-old child.
The total number of people arrested since October 7, 2023 reaches tens of thousands, PPS said.
At least 242 Palestinians, including more than 50 children, have been killed in the occupied West Bank since October 7. More than 2,750 people have been injured.
