Jakarta – The F1 PowerBoat international motorboat racing event will roll out on Lake Toba, North Sumatra, on March 2-3, 2024. This event will also be followed by the world's top racers.
It's hoped that this event can boost the economy of the Lake Toba region. InJourney together with H20 Racing as the organizer of this event hopes for a big impact from this event.
Especially from the regional economic development sector and MSMEs to an economic turnover of up to Rp 2 trillion.

"There is an impact on the economic growth target from last year. We want more and also we have a focus on regional economic development, MSMEs and significant economic turnover," said Maya Watono as Director of Marketing and Consumer Experience InJourney.
Watono emphasized that her party provides several ticket categories for people who want to watch the event.
The ticket sales will begin on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, "We provide tickets for the stands, there will be around 2 thousand people. Then also at the festival we prepare around 5 thousand people," Watono stated.
"Then, we will release the tickets. Previous experience, tickets have run out within an hour,"
Meanwhile, ITDC Operations Director, Troy Reza Warokka, said that in this second event, his party will also introduce Indonesian cultures, especially from North Sumatra.
"Actually, if we talk about the most striking difference, we actually raise national and local culture," Warokka remarked.
There are 8 ethnicities there, that's what we raise in the colossal dance, this dance becomes a differentiating dance and here it also involves many young people, he continued.
He also mentioned: "So for me, the interest of the community to fill this event is extraordinary, the support from the local government is also extraordinary support in various forms of events,"
In addition to traditional entertainment typical of North Sumatra, the F1PowerBoat 2024 event will also be enlivened by top band artists.
Also, there will also be side events, namely the Solu Bolon competition between districts in North Sumatra and the first series of Aquabike Indonesia Championship which will be followed by approximately 30 national jetskiers.
