Nusa Tenggara – Indonesia has been re-elected to host the 2024 MXGP World Motocross Championship for two series. The event will take place at two venues in Indonesia, with the MXGP Samota Sumbawa Circuit on June 29-30 and the next series at the MXGP Selaparang Circuit, Lombok on July 7.
This season only Indonesia and Italy have the confidence to host MXGP Motocross races twice in a row.
Chairman of MXGP Indonesia 2024 Zulkieflimansyah stated that the public will not only witness action-packed races from world-class riders, but can also explore the beauty and tourism potential, as well as the unique culture that is certainly a special attraction in Lombok and Sumbawa.
Meanwhile, Deputy Regent of Sumbawa, Dewi Noviany said that her party has made preparations for MXGP Sumbawa Lombok 2024,

"The pride of the Sumbawa Regency Government and the community who had the honor of hosting MXGP for the third time," she said on Wednesday.
"This is the third time we have hosted. We will immediately prepare Sirukit Samota ahead of the event," she added.
The event has become a major highlight in the international sports calendar and managed to achieve a very high standard.
"We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all those who have supported the success of this event, starting from the central government, especially through the Ministry of Tourism, Economy and Creative, as well as the national promoter Samota Enduro Gemilang, sponsors, volunteers, and the community who participated in supporting," Noviany explained.
The success of the organization is also inseparable from the full support of the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government, Indonesian National Army-Police security forces, Immigration, Customs and other related government agencies.
In addition to being a prestigious competition event, this year's MXGP will also have a positive impact on the regional economy through the involvement of MSMEs, increased tourist visits and promotion of tourist destinations in Sumbawa Regency.
"We hope that the success of MXGP in 2024 will be a driving force to continue to develop sports tourusm in West Nusa Tenggara, especially in Sumbawa Regency and make a friendly host for national and international sports events in the future," he concluded.
