Ceng Beng is not just about visiting the graves of ancestors, but also about honoring family history and the legacy left behind. The tradition reminds us of the balance between sadness and happiness, death and new beginnings.

The Ceng Beng Festival (Qing Ming) has been practiced for over 2,500 years. It is said that the tradition originated from the tomb-sweeping ceremony of ancient Chinese emperors and generals.

Taman Makam Yayasan Sinar Bumi Jonggol always maintains and preserves the tombs in the cemetery. In collaboration with the government and local residents, they ensure that the Ceng Beng procession runs smoothly every year.

"Especially in 2024, which coincides with the fasting month, we urge all pilgrims to maintain cleanliness, peace, and order during their pilgrimage, and to prepare themselves and their prayer tools well so that the worship process can run smoothly," said Aprianus Charles, a representative of the Yayasan Sinar Bumi Jonggol, quoted by VIVA English.

Charles also advised pilgrims to prepare themselves and their prayer tools well, so that the worship process can run smoothly. If you need help, do not hesitate to contact the management or workers at the location.
