This inauguration will take place at a health center in Denpasar, Bali, which marks the start of a new era of internet access in Indonesia.

Minister Pandjaitan revealed that with the availability of internet access in all provinces, digitalization in health and education services in Indonesia will increase.

“I had the opportunity to welcome Elon Musk at the airport this morning, then discussed some of his agenda while here and of course some important collaborations," the Minister wrote.

He added, "One is the inauguration of the Starlink internet service that is able to reach remote areas in Indonesia. The inauguration of the Starlink launch will be carried out by Elon together with President @jokowi from one of the health centers in Denpasar, Bali,”

Starlink, a satellite-based internet service developed by SpaceX, is expected to improve internet access in remote areas of Indonesia that have been difficult to reach by local internet service providers.

“With the availability of evenly distributed internet access in all provinces, digitalization in equitable distribution of health and education services in Indonesia can continue to increase. And most importantly, people living in remote areas can enjoy access to information and fast internet networks just like people living in urban areas,” he concluded.
